Role Purpose

Be part of public relations team responsible for obtaining necessary approvals/permits from relevant government authorities.

Key activities / Decision areas

Obtaining necessary permits/approvals from relevant government bodies.

·         Supporting the business and liaising with the relevant authorities to obtain operational permits and approvals in a timely manner to ensure smooth flow of business whilst ensuring that the business is appropriately informed of the necessary permits and approvals needed (e.g. public events approvals, Ministry of Business and Trade commercial registrations, customs approvals)

Building and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.

·         Ability to strengthen relationships with at Municipalities and Government authorities to support and assist in the business obtaining all necessary approvals.

Support completion of Employee work permit and immigration requirements

·         Working closely with HR, support the business by ensuring that employees have completed necesssary employment procedures in a quick, simple and efficient manner. Such procedures include, Residence Permits, Medical checks, Finger prints, Visas etc.

·         Advising and ensuring that the business is adequately informed of the relevant processes and procedures.

Work with other members of Public Relations team and cover during holidays

·         Work with other members of public relations team and cover others during holidays.

Person specification

Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience

·         Basic Computer Skills.

·         Excellent command of written/spoken Arabic and English.

·         Existing strong relationships with officials at Ministries and Municipalities and other government entities.
